The approach

Developed specifically to improve flotation processes in ore-dressing plants, this ionic composition system regulates the quality of recycled water used in flotation. It automatically monitors ionic composition and releases reagents enabling it to reach increased recoveries of the valuable metals.

As an additional benefit, it reduces harmful magnesium and calcium anions. This means that less maintenance is required for pipes and plumbing, as there is less overgrowing of insoluble carbonates. This system increases metal recovery, boosts mine output and cuts maintenance costs.
